Meet the Whitley Chiropractic & Wellness Center Team

Mindy, Patient Relations
I’m Mindy. How are you today?

I have been with Whitley Chiropractic & Wellness Center for two years after being a patient in the clinic since 1999.  I started receiving chiropractic care for minor neck pain and continued the care throughout my pregnancy and still receive chiropractic care weekly for maintenance.

You will find me at the front desk greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, and escorting patients throughout the office.  My goal is to help provide a nice environment for all patients receiving chiropractic care at Whitley Chiropractic & Wellness Center.  I love working for doctors such as Drs. Lori and Jamie that truly care about their patients and their passion for teaching patients of all ages how to better their health and wellbeing.

Hi, I'm Leslie

LeslieEven as a child I realized how important it was to help others. This led me to a variety of positions in the service industry. In 2006, on a mission trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I was deeply affected by the destruction and deplorable conditions still facing residents even a year after Hurricane Katrina. I moved to Gulfport, MS and began working in the recovery effort. Hearing what others experienced and helping them try to pick up the pieces of their lives was a very humbling experience and one that made me realize I wanted to continue my work in the service industry. Being raised in a family where my mom massaged us regularly made massage therapy a natural next step for me. After returning to Indiana, I sought the education and training necessary to become a certified massage therapist.

As a massage therapist for Whitley Chiropractic & Wellness Center I am here to help you relax and reach optimum levels of health. Massage is a great way to manage frustrating medical problems, such as chronic neck and back pain, headaches and migraines. Receiving massage on a regular basis can also boost your immune system, lower blood pressure and reduce anxiety. In addition to providing therapeutic and relaxation massage, I also offer hot stone massage.

While massage may seem like just another expense during difficult times, think of it as an investment in your health and wellness. Taking preventative steps to help keep yourself healthy can reduce your overall medical expenses. I wanted to share my story and let everyone know that I look forward to meeting you and I hope you will allow me the opportunity to serve you.

Yours in health,

Leslie

Kerilyn
Nice meeting you today, my name is Kerilyn

I have been a patient of Drs. Lori & Jamie’s since 2002. I have suffered with low back problems for years.  Drs. Lori & Jamie have taught me the importance of taking care of myself and dealing with low back problems, and more importantly how to live with low back problems that may never resolve completely. Dr. Jamie was up front and honest with me in telling me what he could and could not do for me.  I understand what changes I had to make in my own life style if I wanted to avoid an unnecessary back surgery.

I now work at Whitley Chiropractic and Wellness Center in the Insurance department helping others with their insurance needs and concerns.  You will also see me working out in the fitness center keeping my low back strong and maintaining my own health and fitness. Drs. Lori & Jamie allow me the time to stay healthy.  It is up to each of us to be responsible for our own health.

What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.
Can a chiropractor heal?
There's never been a case in which a doctor (chiropractor or otherwise) has formed scar tissue, mended a broken bone or cured a headache. Only you can do that. Turns out you're the doctor! All I do is help remove interferences to your body's healing ability. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
